IMPORTANT - Re: EMAIL
The girls do not have access to computer email
at school. Received mail is automatically printed
and distributed to the girls daily. Pictures and attachments
are NOT printed. Please keep email messages brief, and
remember that the girls cannot click on links, open attachments,
or reply to your email.
Note
that printed messages are delivered as a batch and left for the
girls to distribute --we cannot be responsible for ensuring that
each girl receives her email, nor should you consider any email
to be private, as others may see it.
Please
do not forward chain letters or the like to Bnos Rabbeinu addresses
-- they will be deleted. Please also do not subcscribe to any
mailing lists using these addresses, since doing so results in
unreasonable printing and email maintenance requirements.
Finally:
Please allow sufficient time for important emails (like travel
itineraries) to be printed and delivered. Although we try to get
the emails delivered daily, there are sometimes 1-2 day lapses
for technical or other reasons. If
the information is important, please confirm that it was received!
NEW!
There will now usually be a FRIDAY email delivery of messages
received by noon Friday! So send your messages for Shabbos --
they will be dropped off at the dorm sometime after noon.

IMPORTANT RE: AFTER HOURS CONTACT
We
know that there are times that urgent matters arise after hours
-- whether concerning student's travel plans, family matters,
dorm issues, or the like. If such issues cannot wait
until normal hours, you may call Hershel Belkin
at the "after hours" number listed above. There is no
guarantee that you will reach me, but I am generally
reachable between 9 PM and midnight (Chicago time); often until
2 AM, and sometimes all night. My rule is simple... if I can't
take calls (I sometimes get tired!) I will silence my phone. Please
try me first, before attempting to call school administrators
during the night. I will do my best to help resolve any issues,
with sensitivity and confidentiality paramount. [My phone
occasionally goes out of range, but voice mail left at the 2nd
number will be delivered to me via email, which is almost always
in front of me!]
